The Summer Institute is a week-long course that focuses on content, history research methods, and pedagogical principles. OSU faculty will lecture and lead discussions of content and readings, engaging teachers in debate and interpretation of recent scholarship, historiography, and heuristics. Time will also be spent visiting historic sites and on research, making use of the object and archival collections at the Ohio Historical Society.
