Lesson Plans
Back to History teachers have developed lessons that correlate with the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Social Studies and integrate a variety of primary sources. Lesson plans cover topics explored during the Summer Institutes (with link to page) and are arranged by grade level.

Primary Source Activities
These activities are short exercises developed by Back to History teachers that can be easily integrated into existing lessons and provide teachers with the opportunity to illustrate history through the use of primary source material. The activities promote historical inquiry and analysis, they are flexible so as to be helpful to a range of age and developmental groups, and can be used immediately by downloading or printing the material provided. These activities are arranged by grade level.
